Date of Welcome Event Thursday 14th September Wednesday 13th September Monday 11th September Tuesday 12th September Wednesday 20th September Thursday 21st September Tuesday 19th September

I t was wonderful to welcome the students to the start of the new school year. It is a privilege to have become the new Headteacher of Tiffin and collaborate with all staff in seeking to ensure your children have the best possible education. In my first parent newsletter I would like to pay tribute to my predecessor, Mike Gascoigne. Mr Gascoigne has left a great legacy on which I can build; and I am extremely grateful to him for ensuring such a smooth transition as we worked together last term. I look forward to meeting many of you at the Parent Welcome Evenings which start next week and corresponding regularly with you through this newsletter which we plan to issue weekly. I am delighted to say that a new website is under development and will be launched later this term. The first three days of term were devoted to staff development, and new student induction. I would like to pay tribute to the wonderful teaching staff, associate staff and Governors who are so committed and wholehearted in ensuring that every student is cared for and in an environment in which they can thrive and flourish; and it is that professionalism which has led to the outstanding results and other achievements celebrated in this newsletter.
