Joe Allgar in Year 9 also competed in the London Youth Games for the Royal Borough of Kingston at squash on Sunday 8 th July in the National Sports Centre in Crystal Palace and won a gold medal. Joe has competed in many squash tournaments and is currently No 2 in Surrey U15.

In the London Youth Games sailing competition at Queen Mary Reservoir on June 24 th , Magnus Handley, in Year 12, won a dominant gold in the Laser Radial class for Kingston. He won all three races; the first two were decisive victories, but he gave himself more of a challenge in the third race. An error in the pre-start resulted in him getting pushed over the line, so he had to come back to re-start. Starting 15 th , he sailed an excellent first beat, making his way up to 3 rd place by the top mark. By the end of the first lap, he was back in first again. This is Magnus's fourth consecutive gold medal at the London Youth Games, the best record by a male sailor since the games began.

TABLE TENNIS FINALS

Following his result in the U13 South London Individual Qualifier, Ashrith Behara earned an invite to the Jack Petchey London Schools’ Individual Finals on Saturday 9 th June. An outstanding effort and superb play helped him to reach the quarter final. Ashrith has been fully committed to the team this year and his result caps off a highly successful inaugural season for Tiffin Table Tennis.
